MH Kawsar Rudro is a Development Worker, Writer and Researcher living in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Currently he is working in Information and Communication Division of Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific, popularly known as CIRDAP which is an intergovernmental and regional organization working for rural development in Asia-pacific region. In prior position, he worked for several Bengali and English daily newspaper including New Age, Samakal and Dhaka Tribune; and also worked for a non-profit organization named JAAGO Foundation as Assistant Manager. He has publications on diverse issues including environments, education, economy, culture, climate change and human rights.
He also worked as a Media cell Coordinator of Bangladesh Olympic Association and as a Research Assistant in a research project on ‘Media portrayal of Environment and Climate Change in Bangladesh’ funded by British Council Bangladesh under INSPIRE program.
He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from University of Dhaka.
Between making documentaries, learning new language, and finding time to write freely, Rudro nurtures his self by traveling places and observing people.
