Development worker with diverse experience in the field of Communications, Public Relations, Research, Project Management and Strategic Planning. Played vital role in organizing programmes and high-level dialogues and International Mission Assignments in Bangladesh, India, England, Philippines and Fiji.
Currently working as In-Charge of FAO established intergovernmental organisation CIRDAP that works for rural development in 15 countries of the Asia-Pacific region. Prior that worked for NGOs, Research organisations and several renowned newspapers in Bangladesh. British Council Bangladesh INSPIRE (International Strategic Partnership in Research and Education) Fellow 2012. Has publications on different issues including human rights, rural development, climate change, community participation, social capital and public policy.
Holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from University of Dhaka and another Master Degree in Development Studies with specialization in Public Policy Analysis.
